I am learning to write
Remember to:
- plan my writing using a detailed picture and a few key words
- write at least three sentences about the topic
- write my ideas in order
- write using simple sentences and begin to use compound sentences
- write a range of high frequency words
- use some personal vocabulary
- use my knowledge of letter sounds to try new words
- correctly use capital letters and full stops most of the time
- use word and alphabet cards (including class brainstorm)
- reread as I write to improve my writing
Earth is the only planet that people live on. Earth is a wonderful place because of the beautiful trees and the very nice nature. People live on this planet because it has air.
Great ideas Ben. Earth is a wonderful place. I like the way you used your plan to help you write your story. Don't forget to use the word cards and class brainstorm also.
